The Highlanders are a family club. These are the policies that keep it that way, and they apply to players, parents, coaches, members and visitors alike.
- Safeguarding policy — how we keep children and young people safe, and who to tell if you are worried
- Code of conduct — what we expect of players, coaches, parents and spectators
- Privacy policy — what we do with your information
Welfare officers
If you have a concern about a child or young person at the club, contact a welfare officer directly. [TO CONFIRM: welfare officer names and contact details — these must be published publicly, not behind the members login]
Content needed. The safeguarding policy and code of conduct as PDFs or page copy, welfare officer names and contacts, and the club’s FA / England Football and ECB accreditation status.
Owner: Welfare officers (content pack §6).
Content needed. The privacy policy still needs writing. WordPress has created a draft with its standard template at Pages → Privacy Policy — complete it, publish it, then link it from the list above. It is a launch blocker (content pack §5.7), and the cookie banner decision goes with it.
Owner: Secretary (content pack §6).
